The Approach
From an add-on to a curriculum you can measure.
This is the heart of the practice, and the part no competitor can copy: turning time outdoors into a deliberate developmental curriculum with outcomes you can evidence to a board.
The shift
Outdoor learning as usual
A trip on the calendar. Logistics, risk forms and a good week away, hoped to do some good, measured by whether everyone came home.
Outdoor learning with Deep Roots
A developmental intervention, designed backwards from the growth you want, and tracked like any other part of the curriculum that matters.
The method
Designed backwards from the outcome.
We start with the growth a school wants to see, then build the programme to produce it. Three domains sit at the centre, grown together and measured together.
Wellbeing, character and leadership, grown together and measured together. Choose a ring to see what each one means and how we prove it.
What gets measured
Evidence a board will recognise.
KHDA alignment
Programmes mapped to the wellbeing frameworks inspectors already ask about, with evidence gathered as you go.
Bronze to Gold
The developmental thread that keeps students progressing through the Award instead of drifting after Bronze.
UCAS and CommonApp
Character and leadership evidenced well enough to carry a genuine university and employment story.
